auto 350 doesn't want to shift into park

OK, so I took the truck out for the first time this weekend. The audiosonic plus transparent muffler I installed last year still sounds as great as ever!

But the shift lever is really sticky, like there is a stop for it that has somehow been adjusted to be in the way. I have to really yank hard on it to get it from park to any drive gear. going back into park is even worse. Any suggestions?
