m1008 help

hey guys- i have a question- i have a couple of m1008 5/4 chevy trucks- mid 80's. one is getting a 4" lift & 35s but the other has an old work truck body so i was thinking a flat bed for it. on this truck i would like to have dual rear wheels. i know the brake drums are too large / too far out for the 16" budd wheel to fit. has anybody here used any of these adapters that are marketed now- they effectivly move the rims outboard for more clearence. any other way to do this short of another axle? i have a set of dually hubs for the front dana 60- i found them on a "just removed" axle & bought them & brought them home even though i had no use for them [at the time] thanks!
