Restoring an antique wagon for my swap meet hauling
This is my first thread ever in this section.
Last year, I bought the remnants of an antique wagon at a swap meet for 10 bucks. I will call this my before picture... ![]() Cracks... ![]() ![]() Rust... ![]() ![]() ![]() Bent parts... ![]() First, I needed to fix the wallowed out hole where the front carriage turns, so first into the blast cabinet to get it down to clean metal that we can work with... ![]() Then weld a nice thick washer over the hole to restore the round opening and give it some "meat" for future wear. I have got to get a TIG welder. Hopefully this summer... ![]() Weld was nice and hot. Underside of repaired area... ![]() (more in next post)
