Hello from San Jose

Hi All,
I am Jay and I am originally come from England. Moved to San Jose, CA about 10 years ago and have no plans to leave. I bought a 1972 350ci Chevrolet C10 fleetside a week ago, the body is solid and engine transmission seem fine but the electrics look much worse then I first thought so I think I am going to be asking quite a few questions going forward. I have never had greater than a 4 cylinder car before so imagine the smile on my face when I drive this truck. The sound of the engine just makes me grin ear to ear.

My first job was to get the fuel gauge working, I changed the temperature sender and now it registers but the running temperature is very high so may need more work to understand why. Next job looks like it may be the engine mounts as they seem in a very bad state.

I have read a bunch of posts already and am learning a great deal. Great site and very knowledgeable users so looking forward to learning more and improving my truck.
