Fresh blood from MI

Hey everyone, I'm glad to have joined this awesome community. Even though I'm only 20 years old, I've always loved the classic Chevy trucks the best. I'm not your typical rice burner/tuner kid who blares his rap music on his 12" subs.

Anyways I'll cut to the chase... I got my 1979 C10 Longbox when I was 16. I got it for $2000 and it came along with 2 extra 350s, 2 extra transmissions, and a truckbed and car trunk load of extra parts. It had a little surface rust in areas and a rusted out rocker panel on the drivers side. (Not bad for a Michigan truck! eh?) So I did what anyone else on this site would do, and I restored it. I did everything myself with a little help from the old man. Body, paint (BC/CC) metallic blue, mild/street engine build, stereo, tracked down some chrome bumpers, grille, you name it. It won 2 awards at the local car show, and it is my pride and joy.

Now I need some nice chrome wheels for her although I don't really mind the white spokers... I might have to sell the guitar amp for those though

Hope you guys like it!
