700R auto transmission for C10 69

Finally: yesterday I started to collect all the necessary parts in order to converting, four speed compound manual into 700R4 A/transmission my C10longbed stepside 69 .

Things I already have are:
700r4 transmission
converter
flywheel
starter
braket for tv cable and acelerator
Things I´m missing, unless I´m forgetting something.
crossmember
shifter system.
oil lines
On the following days I´ll be asking questiions and sugestions.
If you have a post where I can see how you did it I´d like to take a look.
Now I´ve some questions:
Can I use any crossmember from 82-87 truck , equiped whit 700R4?
could I install a Camaro shifter system? if a member of this forum did it can you give ideas.
