Vent window sealing tape??
I replaced the glass in both vent windows. I already installed the new rubber gaskets (and those tiny rivets). The <sticky?> black stuff that went between the glass and the window frame was rotted and fell to pieces. I'm looking for a suggestion for a replacement I can pick up at a hardware store.
I found that Chevy Duty carries something called 'vent window cork/rubber tape' just for this application, but I don't want to spend the $1.95  and then another couple of $$$ for shipping, and then wait a week, if this is something I can get locally.Thanks,
