In need of some advice

I just brought my Suburban out of hibernation this Easter weekend. I changed the oil and got it all cleaned up and installed my new mirrors. Since I don't have a garage to work in and the summers here are short, I'm trying to figure out my plan for the summer. My original plan was to convert it over to a 1/2 ton, slam it, and install a set of 22" Centerline Smoothie wheels. Then I was hoping to do some bodywork on it like weld the holes where my old mirrors were and fix what little rust there is and repaint it the factory colors. Now i'm wondering if I should leave the suspension alone and tackle the bodywork first and mabey work on the suspension next year. Between work, my honey-do list, and my promise to build my kids a treehouse, my time to work on my burb is limited. What should I do????
