Question Valve cover questions

I have a small hole in one of the valve covers so I am going to replace them. I bought some chrome replacements (Spectre) which match the originals. But I have some questions

http://www.kragen.com/ProductDetail....e=1284&PTSet=A

1. in the shop manual the oil cap and flame arrestor are on the passenger side head, the PCV valve on the drivers side. But on mine they are the opposite. Does this matter ?
2. the grommet set I bought has 3/4" i.d. for PCV valve and 1" i.d. for the flame arrestor. But on my car both PCV and flame arrestor have 3/4 o.d. I have no reference to compare against so just wanted to check the flame arrestors came in 3/4" o.d. or whether it should be 1" o.d. ?
3. is the flame arrestor (from shop manual) known by a different name as I have not turned up anything that look the same on the internet ?

Thanks
