Question What size tires?

I just picked up a set of wheels for my '87 Crew Cab R2500 2wd. They are 16x8. My stock wheels are 16x6.5 with 245/75/16 tires on them. Should I go to a 265/75/16 for the wider new wheels? I don't want to put a tire on that looks like it's streched out to beed up. But I also don't want something that's going to interfear with the steering and suspention. My truck has stock suspention, and I'm lookin at just running an allterain tire of some sort.

Thanks for any info or ideas.
