Adams wax vs. Zymol
For several years I've wondered about several brands of wax including Adams wax and Zymol wax. Recently, I ran out of the brand that I had been using for years and decided to spend some money on these brands. I thoroughly washed my truck and afterwards took a clay bar to it. Then I rubbed both waxes on the hood placing Adam's Wax on the left and Zymol Wax on the right. I only did one coat for each side, buffed it out, and then used the spray hose to see the results.
FWIW, the temperature was approximately 60* and not long after I waxed, there was a rain shower and I was able to clearly see the difference. Also worth mentioning is that I ordered the Rouge Zymol because of my red paint. I'm glad I did, because with it, I no longer have to deal with white powdery wax residue that shows up in hard to reach areas. It was rather expensive but worth the price for me, and smells incredible too!
