Think I made my wheel & Tire decision

I had decided I wanted to get a tire for my project that I have never used, so I did some research and I know there will be those against them but it came down to the Interco Truxus STS or the Interco SS-M-16. Say what you want but I was in the Marine Corps and since it won't be a daily driver I am going to go with the M-16's size 37x13.50.
Here is where it gets trick I did a search on google for reviews and while doing so I found a set of rims I REALLY like. Doesn't hurt that in the article they are running them on a 72 My only concern is the widest the rims come in is 17x8????????? They are BTR racing rims with the fake beadlock. Kind of nervous for tread life about running such a narrow rim on a wide tire. My truck will be red so I was gonna go with the black trim ring. They make the rim in black but I can't find a picture. Any thoughts. Here are the pics.
