I know I will step on toes here, but I feel rallies are so played out. I'm fine with them on a restored truck because they add to that look. In this case I envision a build that deserves more.

It seems to me that your after the retro work truck look. What would the owner have done if this truck were built a decade or two back. He would have invested a bit of his stash cash on some custom wheels for his pride and joy.

If you don't like the smoothies, a set of aluminum slots would look great but would require maintenance. I think a set of AR Daisy rims would compliment the look and would not be as common as the often used TT II's.
