LCA Ball joints - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello fellas, long tim no post. So now that Im out of my financial slums, Ive gotten back to work on Ye Olde GMC. Im trying to get the lower control arm ball joints out. And brother, they aint coming.

Any ideas on how to get these out. If Im not mistaken they are pressed in. I put them in a press and the arm itself started to bend so I shut down that idea. Only other thing I can think of is a torch but wanted some ideas from you guys before I went to cuttin'. What yall think?
