A/C question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Yet another question in the line of trying to decide if I want to use used parts or spending the extra $$$ for new. Found a donor truck that had factory A/C. All the parts are there from controls to compressor. My truck is not an A/C so I don't have any of the vents and I don't know if those can be pulled.

The plus side is this system is 1/3 of the price a vintage air unit. I know I will need some parts but it seems like a solid system to start with.

Anyone made this conversion of a stock A/C system into a non A/C truck?
