Front end torque

OK i tried search but every thread had a different number. i was taught to snug up the castle nuts then turn them till the cotter pin line up. but apparently that's wrong. i also have a pb drop member with 68 ball joints. so i guess all i need is ball joint torque and i guess tighten the hell out of the tie rods since there a 5/8 bolt?
