Why won't my engine keep running?
I'm not the most brilliant guy when it comes to engines and I have a problem. I have a 1967 GMC Stepside, with the original Inline-6 250 in it, with the original Rochester Carb.
The Problem: I can get the truck to start, and I can give it gas and it will rev up but after about 10-20 seconds a plume of gas will shoot out of the carburetor and the engine shuts off. It won't ever stay going. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
