Transmission rebuild woes

Got my th350 transmission rebuilt with B&M race rebuild kit and stage 2 **** kit and man does it shift sweet but they said I needed to have my driveshaft shortnened 2 inches since I did the flip kit on my truck. no problem drop a bill getting that done .Pay my bill at the shop and drive home so happy. That was until I come walking back out to put my subs in the truck and I see the pool of transmission fluid under the it. Turns out the drive shaft is now too short.

Its a one piece driveshaft .Are there any trucks that that I can get a driveshaft out of to have shortened with will fit? Looks like this time I will only get it shortened one inch.

Man this blows.
