Power Steering Conversion???

I am working on a side project to help my brother out with his 70 K5 Blazer.
The blazer currently has the manual gearbox and we are wanting to convert it to a power setup.

First question: Will a later model power gearbox off 4x4 truck work for this application? Say like a 78 model truck with a Saginaw, GM #7802644.

The reason why I ask about the 78 model is because we have swapped the axle from this truck to this blazer. The 78 had a 3/4 ton setup with a 14FF in the rear and a 10bolt up front. We have already bolted everything up with the 10bolt and have connected the pitman arm and everything seems to be fine.

Second question: Is there anything that we need to consider when looking for the power steering pump for this application.
