I finally got the measurements you guys wanted.
Plus I changed a couple things today.


Got the top down on the ground and laid a tape on the main beam span. It's 59.5".

Here's the boy helpin out.









Then took a measurement from the front of the main beam to the lifting point.
That is 28".










Then I replaced the 1/4" bolts with some proper locking pin's to secure the arms with.









Then to be REAL sure the top stays secured I attached a ratchet strap at each corner of the main beam and wrapped them around the rafters in the ceiling of the carport.
