Simple steering question

Sorry for such a noob type question, but it's been bothering me.

On a crew cab dually, is it normal to really have to crank the steering wheel while going through a turn (while at speed)? My truck drives fine, I just can't remember if this is normal or not.

The front end checks out good, just needs the rag joint replaced. But that wouldn't cause the need to turn the wheel completely upside down just to go through a curve in the road.
