beautiful truck hotfun!
Why not? That would be the first thing I would do to it... If it is legit... It is a perfect base line for a Pro Street truck...

I had a buddy that bought a 1955 Chevy Bel Air... Bone stock, low miles, with the little 265 V8. He yanked the small block, and put a 496/TH400 in it, and then tubbed it, and put a 4 link in it. Some other drag strip mods too. It was a great street/strip ride. Interior was cherry, since it was all original... Had to put a roll bar in it, but it was nicely done.

The owner of the car had sold it to him in the hopes he wouldn't "change a thing". My buddy never made that promise. But got a very heated phone call from the original owner about "ruining" the car... My pal told him to buzz off. The guy even stooped to leaving hate mail in my buddy's mail box.

I never understand those people. If it is so cherry, and you have to sell it, and you want it to stay that way... then sell/donate it to a museum, or a "collector". It's crazy to sell a vehicle outright, and not expect changes to be made.
