Aftermarket A/C ...Where's your alternator?

I am about to order A/C either from Old Air or CAA. I am curious to where people are relocating their alternators and what brackets they are using.

I want to stick with the long water pump and my alternator is currently on the passenger side. i would like it high on the drivers side, but the only brackets i have found are for short pumps. I have seen the low/mid mount bracekts, but I am wondering if that is going to get my alt wet when i hit puddles.
