1972 C10 Project

We're getting ready to notch out a 72 C10 and I have a coupe of questions.

We want it to lay frame, how high should the notch be? It looks like most are 8-10 inches. This being measured from the bottom of the frame to the inside/top of the notch.

Where is the optimal place to mount the bags? I've seen variations of this. Ideally this will be a cruiser truck but it will be pulling a load from time-2-time.

Are 3 or 4 links required once bags are installed, which is preferred and why?

What is a GOOD bag setup that can handle a payload yet have some play-time.

Lastly, lookin for some feedback on runnin 22's. Obviously we'll be tubbing the rear end and removing the wheel-wells in the front end but other than that will they fit? Do the rear-ends need to be shortended, what about the front-end?
