Radiator retainer brackets - is this correct?

Here are some pictures of the radiator retainer brackets. They are the originals, but they don't look like they are fitting correctly to me. It looks like the U shaped portion on the bottom of the brackets isn't lined up correctly and is too flat, allowing the radiator to sit too far towards the engine. I know the radiator was replaced at one point, so there's no telling what the shop did to make the new radiator fit. The truck came from the factory with a heavy duty radiator according to the SPID. 70 C-10, 307, 2 barrel, no A/C. Sorry for the cruddy pics!
