Unhappy My shaft is too short

After putting in a f&%# 9", I purchased a nice aluminum drive shaft with a spicer slip yoke and 1350 u joints from another boardmember. After measuring and having the DS cut and balanced I found out I needed to change the pinion yoke as it was not for a 1350. Now I have 2 1/4" of slip yolk in the tailshaft and 1 1/2" out (pictured) I was shooting for 1" - 3/4" of slip yoke out. Am I still good ? Need I test whats left of my sanity moving the engine/ trans back? This is how it sits on at a static drop with all for wheels on the ground. Thanks for any help.
