custom frame work

got a question for all you guys who have built frames or done monster notches.

i want to do a monster notch but im not shure what welder to use, i own a miller 140 mig that runs on 110 and a 180 arc that runs on 220. can i get away with using the 110 on frame work or do i need to use the arc?
