New Cab Time?
I've been hacking and welding and grinding and generally toiling on my '67 cab for a few weeks now. Seems like everytime I turn around I'm finding more rust to be repaired. One of the reasons I've been trying to repair this cab is because it is a small window version. Would ya'll continue to fix the rust or cut your losses and swap out for a better cab. I have a '67 LWB driver with a much better big window cab that I've been debating whether to sell as a complete runner or part out for my SWB project. Once I tax the cab- I'm pretty much a$$ deep in having the hulk sit in my driveway- slowly picking and/or selling parts off of it....which does not fly right with the misses.
Check out the pics and lemme know what you think. Keep in mind this is above and beyond the obvious inner rocker, outer rocker, cab corner, lower A-pillar, and kick panel repairs that are needed, as well as, shaving the drip rails 'cause they're completely FUBAR.
