Fender Mounting

Hey, gang,
Is there anything that goes between the fender and the inner fender on that lip where they mate up and bolt together? Not at the firewall, but the length of the fender front to rear.
I got a full cab rubber kit, and some of the items were bagged but not marked,(shame on you, parts packer person) so I have to match them up with what I remove. But I didn't have fenders when I got the truck, so I was hoping someone could enlighten me.

Thanks,
