Anti-lowering - Ball joint spacers

Ok, I want to lift the front of my 82. I'm going for a nostalgic 80's look with the N50's hangin' out the wheel wells and the shock and ball joint extenders up front to level the truck out. I'm not going for the 60's nose up straight axle, nor any flavor of pre-runner. As a visual aid, the truck sits just a little too high in the front with no motor, trans or me.

Like 383chevy's from page 3 for the fatty tire thread in the racing forum, only just a touch higher (I'd link here but darned if I know how.... being old is not all good).

I can find lift springs and spring spacers in 3", which would be about right. But I know that this much lift will play havoc with suspension travel. Back in the day, we would put in the ball joint spacers to help correct this. My question is, anyone know where I can get these? Oh, shock extenders would be nice too, but I imagine I can work around that issue.
