3" body lift problem

i have a 71 chevy custom 10 wit a 3 speed on the floor with a 3" body lift and the hole in the firewall for the clutch needs to be cut or something so the clutch will be at a more vertical angle. how would i go about doing this because i cant drive my truck with the clutch 2 inches from the floorboard?
