cummins diesel into a 65 chevy

Well I am trying to get all the bases covered on this swap so I can start. I want the truck to look stock and be able to stop/tow/drive great... I plan on boxing the frame all the way back and weld in x braces I am going to try to get a whole 2wd dodge pickup with a 12 valve or 24 valve in it, so I can use the rearend I dont know if I should 4 link or leaf? Leafs would be easyer I think. I will use the dodge fuel tank mounted under the bed. The suspension is going to be tricky to do for cheap, can I use 3/4 ton chevy arms and spindles along with the steering? will the a-arms bolt up to the 65 chevy c10?.I might try to use the dodge bakes I will need to look at what I get. I plan on using this as a daily driver and tow rig and depending how it goes, the strip. I think this will be a nice driver. I think I can get a motor, trans, rearend, for about $1500 I have done a few swaps before. What else do you think should be done to make this safe? I am looking for idea's and am not rich, and in no hurry. I am just looking for the swap truck, so in the down time looking for info.
