1969 Transmission Cross Member

I recently purchased a 1969 K10 4x4 and have been trying to work out some of the rough edges. It has a 700r4 with a NP205 and the Transmission cross member is a mess. It looks like it has been repaired several times and it was not a very good job. I found a picture in Sdailey build thread and I was wondering if this is what is supposed to look like. If this not the correct mount could someone show me a picture.
