I got an 83 suburban with a 350 and a 700r4 in it. The trans and motor have both been rebuilt, and are running closet to 20,000 on them. While i was driving this weekend I noticed that the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift caused teh engine to lug.
It felt almost like the tourque converter was locking at all the shifts, and that with a little gas it would unlock and resume normal driving. It is shifting at all the right points, and not slipping any. Is this is common problem. Any advice on how to fix, or is this something for a shop to do. The warranty is up btw. Thanks all.
