Rams Horns or Headers?????

took my ram horns off to go to headers and dual flow masters......but now it doesn't start that good after its been warm and running for a while...and i hear that the horns flow better?...need some info please....thinking i might have them put back on...and the headers run very close to my starter...im sure that's not good. Thank you as always for yawls feed back.
