Price Check on Cab

Hello all you Handsome/Beautiful Chevy Lovers,

I have been working on my Truck (mostly on the drive train) now off and on for about 3 years. Well last week, my Beautiful Wife of 14 years has given me the green light to get the bodywork going. I called and talked to a guy that afternoon and brought over the truck for him to look at. Right off the bat when looking at the truck's inner roof, he told me my best option was to replace the cab. I assumed this when I inherited the truck from the threads I've read on here. He quote me between $300-500 for a new cab, plus $400 to take off old cab and install new cab. If new cab needs rockers and cab corners, $225.00 per side. So I am looking at worst case scenerio from his quote $1500.00. Does this seem like a good price? I've looked at his other on going projects and it seems like he does quality work. I've also asked him to keep an eye out for an AC cab. I might as well get an option that the truck didn't come with originally.
