I have reached perfection...IMHO!

i have had my '72 for nearly 6 years and i think i finally found the perfect look. of course, that is very subjective, but for me, this is just about as good as it gets. i had 17 X 8's with 275-50's and 235-50's and the front wheels just looked too bulky. i ran cragar 390 series wheels for a while and didnt' like the look....i just realized today that they were 9" wheels, not 8" like i ordered. anyway, i went back to the torq-thrust wheels, keeping the 275-50's out back, but opting for a 17 X 7 up front with a 245-45 tire. when they backed it out of the stall, i cringed...hoping it was going to look right. it did take a few minutes to get used to the smaller tire, but now it think it looks perfect for the look i am after! it was a good day in magnolia!
