Oversized Rear Wheel Cylinder

In the process of changing my 6-lug to 5-lug, I recently ordered the rear brake drum rebuild kit from ECE. I received two wheel cylinders, one good one and one bad one. Both Raybestos, both made in China. Both center sections are sized right and the bolt pattern distance is the same but it looks like they have two castings for the case. The larger one also does not fit between the "ears" on the backing plate as well. The rubber boots are really squeezed in there.

I figured I'd post a pic to show the difference. (I've contacted ECE to get the right one).

I also posted a before and after. From one side anyway...

Frank

You'll see the one on the left is slightly smaller and has less material

Before rear drum rebuild (but after axles removed)

After rebuild with new Moser 5-lug axles (was going to redrill the original axles but they both had alot of pitting on the outer bearing surface so new axles for me!)
