Is this gonna look good?
Just imagine the panels all welded in, smoothed out and painted Brillant Metallic Silver the same main color of the truck with these gauges:
http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/auror...ls.php?gauge=2 but with black bezels and needles instead..... The truck is a '68 GMC swb, Im painting it two tone- silver with black down the middle. I got the fender wells, the hood, cowl, door and tailgate hinges, hood latch, plus alot of other small items sprayed in the brillant silver and cleared and color sanded already. It looks great! I used the 2 stage paint from Summit racing, it is great paint for the price! Im now starting to focus on the inside cab now and need to make some final decisions on which direction to go. I was planning on useing the gauges above then thought I would like to try to figure out a way to use a factory gauge set up (my p/o messed the current one all up) but Im back to thinking of useing the after market gauges above.... Or should I scrape the whole idea and just get another factory cluster? What you think? Any ideas? Thanks! Opps give me a second I forgot to download the pics from my camera...... duh...
