Sensitive steering. Need help

Has anyone ever had the issue of real sensitive steering. When I'm driving say 30 mph or faster, and I hit a rut or as we have here, miles of ruts, my truck will easily pull to one side. The dangerous part is that my steering is so "touchy" that when i try to correct it, it will sling shot me back to the other side. I've change the power steering box once and it stayed the same. Any suggestions? I have 18 in wheels, disc brakes up front and lowering springs.

Thanks
