Cleared factory GM SideMarker Light
So I decided to spend the extra dollar at the pick-n-pull for a side marker light. I was going to take it apart and refurbish it... and then I noticed some of the yellow coloring was flaking off. A quick trip to the sand blast cabinet at my dads work (super super fine blast media) I sand blasted the back side (inside) of the lense... its not clear, but its not yellow, more like a frosted white. Perfect. I painted some areas black so it would look even better, and the result looks awsome, so now I need to find a passenger side lense.
I am not sure if the new aftermarket are the same way, but this one happened to be an original GM lense. I didnt even have to try hard to seperate the lense from the base as it was already coming apart. Pictures will be up later on tonight. clint
