Bell housing Help

I have a 67 c-20 that had a blown up 327 motor with a 4 speed granny transmission. I have pulled the 327 motor out of the truck and left the bell housing attached. The 327 motor had the starter mounted to the bell housing and on the back of the bell housing it had ears on the bottom to mount to cross-member.

The 350 I purchased to put in the truck has a different bell housing for a manual transmission and the starter bolts into the motor case, no ears on back of the bell housing for cross-member.

Can the 327 bell housing work for this 350 by removing the starter from the motor and re-installing the 327 starter? Or do I need to get some other type of transmission support for the 350 bell housing.
