Carb replacement - Holley...or ????

No, I don't want to start a war.

Just looking for opinions, BTDTs for replacement carbs.

Currently I have a stock 350 with a 9 year old Holley 600 CFM, manual choke (4650?, I forget) on an Edelbrock Performer intake, mild Summit cam, HEI and headers.

Not looking to burn rubber in all gears; just like cruisin' down the highway. Decent gas mileage (>12MPG) would be a plus!

So, its - rebuild the antique Holley,
get a new one or
some other brand.

Any suggestions??

Also, are there any real benefits to going to an automatic choke?

Thanks,
