Clutch cylinder separated from firewall
I have a 99 c1500 with a 5 spd. Last night, when shifting into 2nd gear I heard a pop and the clutch pedal stayed on the floor. Upon inspection I discovered that the clutch master cylinder was hanging loose outside the firewall. Inside I found fragmented plastic clips.
My question is "Is this common?" and "Are these parts easy to change out?" Does anyone have any diagrams or pics of this assembly? What is the extent of the parts that will need changed? Thanks for any input you all give. I appreciate you all. I guess I may need to pull the 66 C10 out of the mothballs for a few days while I fix the 99.
