load capacity

Can anyone tell me how much weight you could carry in the bed of a stock suspension swb? I'm trying to figure out how much I should be able to carry if I bag the rear of my truck. Also, I'm assuming that bags should be able to handle the stock capacity at a minimum.
I have drop springs in the rear right now, and I'm only able to carry about 1400-1500 pounds and not rub my tires when I hit bumps.
