How to remove old gas in tank.

I have a 70 Blazer and the gas that is in the tank is a couple of years old now. Is there a way to remove this gas and replace it with new without having to drop the tank? Sorry if this is a basic question, but I have searched and could not really get a good idea on how to approach it properly. Thanks for any input and help on this.
