Converting V6 to V8 engine mount question

I am swapping out a V6 for a V8 in my 1987 R10. I knew the mounts are different so I went to a you pull it and found a 86 that had the 8 cyl brackets. It had a utilty body so I am assuming it was at least a 3/4 ton truck. Came home and the brackets are not even close to matching up to the holes in the frame.

My questions:
1- Is there a difference between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton engine brakets?
2- Is there mounting holes in the frame for a 8 cyl or do I have to drill
3- Is there a difference between 4x4 and 2x4 brakets?
(the brakets in question are the ones that mount to the frame and cross member)

What am I doing wrong !

Please help!!!
