Save those doors

Hi All,

While replacing tow mirrors with stock size I cleaned out the bottom of my doors. Just a quick note that we all should do this simple step to keep the life of a door a bit longer - particularly making sure the drainage points are free and clear. I scrapped and vacuumed the inside of the door panel - removed lots of dirt, old bolts, rust and helped free up the drainage points. There is surface rust down there, and I still have to deal with it - but I'm sure I've improved the flow of new water coming in and going out and was pretty amazed that it hadn't rusted through yet. Anyway, just a quick note - hopefully to inspire others. You will need a door handle clip remover tool (only a couple of bucks or so ...search online) ...not sure how you'd get in there otherwise.
