All I did to mount the hinge was grind two small notches for the original hinge blots to sit. Nice and solid, no need to weld any for the hinge. I did need to bend the hinge slightly to get the lens to sit right. The welds are ugly....I was having problems lol. The filler is mounted using a strap of 1/8 steel and then the strap is screwed to the bed. The filler "bucket" is just mounted to the filler, not screwed in at all, but it fits good and solid.
