c10sport Registered User Join Date: Sep 2010 Location: state of denial Posts: 271	axle interchange Brother in law is looking for a 2002 1500 2wd rear axle, 3.42 gears. We've found one, but it has a 3.08 ratio. Will it work in his truck without having to reflash the ECM? Or will we have to continue looking for a 3.42 axle?
